The Performance Matrix is a unique computerised system of movement screening, that uses a series of special movement tests to identify potential problem areas and help prevent injuries before they happen....

Through the use of the ‘The Performance Matrix’ software, we are able to provide a detailed, individual report that can be used as part of an effective injury prevention programme for any sport. Think of it as your very own ‘Musculoskeletal MOT!’

Following the assessment, your Physiotherapist will discuss the results of the screen and help work with you to find ways of correcting areas of weakness, stiffness which contribute to poor control and may ultimately lead to recurrent injury.

How we hear you ask?? Well....this is how....

  • Movement control tests identify movement faults
  • Clear videos and instructions detail the tests for patients
  • Unique movement control risk analysis with risk evaluation algorithm
  • Report details movement control profile: site (where) and direction (specific detail) of uncontrolled movement and identifies alignment and co-ordination problems vs strength and speed problems
  • The profile report details high risk areas (fix now), low risk areas (fix later) and assets (fast track training here)

We are able to offer this service on a 1:1 basis or would be happy to discuss how this service can transform the way you approach injury at your sports club.
